The 1562 Bluetooth, wireless scanners have a 90-meter line-of-sight range from the communication stand. If that is not far enough for you, or if you have a job that takes you outside, the scanner's built in memory holds up to 256 scans, ready to transmit these barcode automatically when you are back in range.
