Adding Locations

To add a new Location click the New button. The following screen will appear:

Fill out the details in the screen as follows:

1. Barcode:  This is the Location Barcode and it must be unique. A Location Barcode will be suggested to you. This is a mandatory field. The Location ID can be type or barcode scanned in.
2. Description: This is the description of your Location and it must be unique. This is a mandatory field.
3. Parent Location: This is the parent location for the location you are creating. This is a mandatory field. In the example above a new location called ‘Bay 3’ will be added as a sub-location underneath the ‘Support’ Location.
4. Comments: Enter any comments regarding this Location.
